From mid April to early September the club meet once a week on a Monday night at Draycote Water, meeting from 6.00pm to paddle at 6:30pm. Finish will be between 7:00 and 8.30pm (Dependent on daylight hours). On Bank Holiday Mondays we will meet on Tuesday instead.
To get to Draycote Water: From Rugby follow the signs for Banbury on the Southam Road (A426). Draycote Water Reservoir is on the right just before Kites Hardwick. Go through the main gate then follow the road to the car parks.
If you do not have a boat or equipment to drop off please park in the first part of the car park on the right. This is marked as for sailing club members only and you do not need to pay for parking on club nights.
If you have a boat or equipment please continue up the road and turn left where the road forks up past the visitor centre. Go past the visitor centre and then turn right just in front of the sailing club house. Drop your equipment near the clubhouse and then return your car to the car park and walk back up.
There is now a traffic barrier to access the sailing club. Members will be given a code to open it. For non-

Under 12’s; Will require a parent or responsible adult to be with you and stay whilst your on the water.
Under 18’s; Parents/guardians will be asked to complete a Consent Form and hand it to the duty person.
The club runs Paddle Fitness sessions in the evening. Meet at 6:30 pm on the canal at the small car park off Boughton Road, Rugby.
The club occasionally meet on a Saturday morning at Draycote Water, for a Saturday Morning Paddle.
The sailing club has male and female changing rooms with showers and toilets.
Access to the changing rooms and clubhouse is controlled by a code. So please ask for this on the night. It changes quite frequently. Although access is controlled please don’t leave any valuables in the changing rooms.
There is also a bar area for a drink and socialising after paddling (available on Mondays only)
Stair free access to the changing rooms and bar area is available around the back of the club house.
The club provides helmet, cagoule, spray decks, buoyancy aid, paddle and boat.
Don’t forget spare clothes
For Winter sessions at Draycote a full length wetsuit or drysuit must be worn due to water temperatures from the start of December through to the end of March.
